Nautical Cities is all about cruise ships and the people who love them. It’s the best place to find information about a specific ship, your favorite cruise line’s fleet, or even what happened to your favorite ships from the past. Use our powerful search capabilities to display all the information you’re looking for.
Each ship in our database is accompanied by a high quality, to scale illustration of the starboard (right side) of the ship. Now you can compare not only the stats of ships but their physical appearance as well.
Our database is growing everyday. Some of our ships still need some work. The ship you’re looking for may have just a grey profile. Don’t worry, the ghost ship is to scale and can be compared to any other illustration.
Well even though our site is only 14 months old we thought it was time for a facelift. The overall goal was to optimize our site design for more browsers but more importantly streamline the site so that so that it would function faster on all browsers. The biggest difference will be noticed by those of you using older browsers. (That being said we still recommend that you always keep your browser up to date.) Hope you enjoy the new site!!
Now onto my favorite part, site static's! Since our last posting in March our site membership has grown by 50% to a grand total of 725 members. Nautical Cities now offers 531 different ships with members adding nearly 2,500 photos and creating nearly 8500 tickers. Our Facebook application myShips continues to grow with membership nearly reaching 25,000 with members adding over 72,000 ships.
